They Trained Neural Networks to 'Read Thoughts' in Real Time

As part of the NeuroNet NTI Assistive Neurotechnology project, employees from the Neurobotics Group of Companies and the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology trained neural networks to reconstruct images of brain electrical activity. In the past, it is claimed that no such experiments had been conducted on EEG (other scientists, however, have used fMRI or analysed signals directly from neurons).
