The long-awaited GPT-5 from OpenAI is finally here! It's already running in the USA, and now here too - with a slight delay. I've written an article where I compile facts, benchmarks, and a few personal observations. This could be useful for companies and the curious alike.
PS: It's amusing that https://chatgpt.com/ is trying to convince me that it's already GPT-5, even though it clearly states at the top that it's model 4o. It even proposes tests to prove this, which it then falsifies through Python coding (and shows how long it processes texts in LLM, even though it's doing it in Python - still a foolish liar, 4o).
