Amazing 3D Simulation of Neural Networks

Take a look at the amazing 3D simulation of various architectures of artificial neural networks! I assume it was created by some wizard in C++ and 3ds Max.

An expert will notice that SNNs (spiking neural networks – which are biologically more accurate than traditional fully connected networks) don't work very well in this case. This nicely demonstrates that there is currently a lack of effective training methods for them.
