New Technological Trends from Gartner Symposium 2019

1. Hyperautomation is the new name for various automation techniques such as RPA, BPM, ML, DTO, NLP…

2. Multiexperience: People-Centric Smart Spaces. Technology is everywhere. The digital world surrounds us, and we are part of it (mobile phones, smartwatches, Fitbits, cars, homes, sensors…)

3. Democratization: (citizen developers, citizen integrators, citizen data scientists, low-code and no-code platforms, augmented analytics, shadow AI…)

4. Edge Computing: According to Gartner, by 2022, a typical company will process 75% of its data at the edge rather than in the data centre. My experience in corporations does not quite support this yet, and I also work on the mobile unit of the product.
