The Dutch Have Invented a Laser Cannon Against Birds, Controlled by Artificial Intelligence

The Dutch startup – Bird Control Group has developed a bird deterrent that operates on the same principle as a larger laser pointer. The aim of this invention is to protect vineyards or fields just before harvest from bird incursions. A motorised camera continuously scans the vineyard, and when it detects a feathered pest or even an entire flock, it simply fires a laser beam in that direction.
