The world today brings many surprises. Computer gamers have always demanded excellent performance from their machines and the most faithful representation of increasingly demanding games. The willingness of players to regularly spend on ever-newer computers, so that chases and shootouts look lifelike, was noted two decades ago by a Taiwanese-American student at Stanford University in California, Jensen Huang.
In 1993, Huang co-founded Nvidia with the aim of improving the then rather poor graphical capabilities of ordinary computers.
Nvidia graphics cards are now among the best, and in addition to enabling the playing of graphically demanding games, they also power our algorithms for artificial intelligence.
