Machine Learning Prague – Bringing You the Best Overview!

Probably the largest conference on machine learning in Central Europe brought together the second-best minds in the field (the best mind at that time, according to our information, was in Plzeň).

Thanks to the organisers, top ML expert Jiří Maternob and Šárka Štrossová, around 1000 enthusiasts from 35 countries gathered.
Here’s a selection of the highlights according to Tyinternety:
• Professor Tomaso Poggio from MIT spoke about the analogy between neuroscience and the hierarchical architecture of deep learning.
• Kateřina Veselovská from Delloite discussed automatic crime detection at various stages of investigation.
• Luba Elliot demonstrated how artists are using AI to expand their potential.
• Marc Romeyn from Spotify talked about the algorithm for creating personalised recommendations and the extensive infrastructure of his company.
