Every year, Gartner releases a new Hype Cycle of technologies poised to become the next big trend. This year, the most significant and important supertrend is the omnipresent artificial intelligence.

It seems that we are finally succeeding in connecting the holy trinity of neural networks, namely enormous computational power, practically infinite data resources, and previously unanticipated advancements in deep neural networks.
