Google Unveils Kit for 'Personal Artificial Intelligence'

I would really like this :) A toy based on the Raspberry Pi platform and the VisionBonnet board and TensorFlow, which I love :) I just can't seem to reorder it :( Does anyone know how to go about it?

Google has prepared a kit for AIY (Artificial Intelligence Yourself), which is based on the Raspberry Pi platform and the VisionBonnet board. What can this device, enclosed in a cardboard box, be used for?

Artificial Intelligence Yourself (AIY) is an entire initiative revolving around artificial intelligence based on Google's open-source library, TensorFlow. Now, it has also prepared the necessary hardware, inspired by the classic Google Cardboard VR glasses. The similarity lies solely in the fact that both products utilise a cheap cardboard box, and thus we can consider them more as tools suitable for learning or simply for trying out the relevant technology.

The VisionBonnet board features the Intel Movidius MA2450 VPU (Vision Processing Unit), and Google will provide the necessary software with three models of neural networks based on TensorFlow.

With the help of a camera and neural networks, we will be able to recognise various objects, including human faces, and it will also be possible to detect when our dog, cat, or other animal enters the room. Google will also allow us to train our own network, for which it will provide the necessary tools for the Vision Kit.
