Google Colab is an exceptionally useful tool for AI enthusiasts who enjoy working online. This week, Google quietly introduced a paid tier called 'Colab Pro' with three advantages:

• Faster GPUs: “Priority access to faster GPUs and TPUs.” Instead of the free K80s, subscribers gain access to Nvidia Tesla T4 and P100 units, as well as priority for TPUs.
• Longer runtime: “Longer notebook runtimes mean you will be disconnected less often.” Instead of the claimed 12 hours, Colab Pro allows notebooks to “stay connected for up to 24 hours and disconnect you less frequently.”
• More memory: “More RAM.” Notebooks will have priority “VMs with larger memory,” “typically having double the memory of standard Colab VMs and twice the CPUs.”
