Moore's Law is an empirical rule concerning the exponential growth of computational power in electronic circuits. The original statement was: "the number of transistors that can be placed on an integrated circuit will approximately double every 18 months, assuming the same cost."
For AI Paper Club today at 2pm ET, I'll discuss The Bitter Lesson by Rich Sutton, Moore's Law (visualised), and exponential improvement in AI. Listen in or join the discussion on our Discord server: https://discord.gg/lex-aiPS: If you want to present your work/research, sign up in server.
