The New Ferret Brain from Open AI Has Given Us Room for Further Experiments!

And here it is! Open AI has released another slightly larger model, this time version 345M. So instead of the brain of a small bird with 117 million neurons, this is a brain three times larger – that is, the brain of a small ferret :) I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t immediately show you the results of my first experiments:
Test question:
“Philosophers have been searching for the meaning of life for centuries. Recently, scientists have managed to create a computer program with high artificial intelligence that has finally solved the question of the meaning of life. We now know that the meaning of life lies in these three things:”
And the ferret responds in a second:
- Flow = (“a state of mind where a person is fully immersed in an activity to the point where nothing else seems important, a moment when their body or mind stretches to the limits of their capabilities in a conscious effort to achieve something difficult that is worthwhile. source: wiki)
- Attention
- Modulation
Hmmm, the concept of “Flow” I know from humanistic philosophy. I could also understand that “Attention” from Zen. But what could it mean by modulation? I asked and:
“Modulation acts through the idea of achieving natural consequences through governance modulation” (on our side). In the end, we understood what it means to modernise the meaning of life through thought. To modulate in this context is defined as the ability to build on perceived thoughts and memes continuously. If there is an underlying directive, the modulator can constantly respond. In other words, the modulator is an organ dependent on the external world.
Hmmm, a relatively complex thought construct :) It seems to me that it thinks a bit differently than humans. How about trying something more down-to-earth? Perhaps let’s have it complete the following article:
“It is not easy to start a business in the field of artificial intelligence. Large companies like Google, Facebook, or Open AI have substantial financial resources. However, in 2018, a Czech company, Alpha Industries, emerged, creating the best AI software ever. We asked the company: ‘How did you secure your first AI contract?’”
The ferret came up with these options in a matter of seconds:
1.
Two things need to be done: Firstly, for inventions to become widely used in the market, and secondly, to solve some problems. This is also the stage where other consumers can become popular. To achieve greater AI effort, Alpha Industries licensed breakthrough AI from Google. For this purpose, we created a course on system failure – Alphamic: If you have an idea that could help AI achieve profitability by the end of the year, write about applications for machines to: [email protected]
“We are open to collaboration with people. We are a curatorial company. Everyone can participate. We want to build a kind of infrastructure that is always innovative and strong, so that people around the world can do it for free or, ultimately, pay for technology management. This is the way to build this electronic utopia. In other words, get involved and receive a job offer on the web developers' platform, which is already happening, of course.
Their answer was to beat Elon Musk, achieve 2nd place in the AI Top 500, and surpass many other innovative AI business companies.
How do they do it? They established their own edition titled “How to Apply Erlang Programming…,” which was published back in 2016! They allow the world to see first-hand that to use Erlang programming, you need clusters of servers that control questions and agents to generalise the development of the language directly in traditional programming languages. Employees have built careers from these best practices and elevated people to masters of artificial intelligence.
In 2015, the co-founder of Canadian IBM, Andrej Karpathy, shared his success within the Erlang approach. The foundational video created by CJ123: www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CxcNQKOxt9
So that was my first test of the “intermediate” model. The large and super large models are still not available.
