I apologise, but this is the spirit in which most debates with Tomáš are conducted. There is not a single instance of specific, factual criticism of the problematic aspects of the AI Act, its overly broad scope, and so on. I’m not saying that criticism isn’t warranted; I’m merely critiquing the manner in which we conduct this debate. From about five interviews, I learn only that "regulation is a problem, but sometimes it actually works – see China's success."

Thus, I offer Tomáš a month of FREE Freedia, which now includes an AI assistant focused on EU regulations, allowing even a layperson to gain a fairly accurate overview of what the specific EU regulations entail and what real impact they have on my business, startup, and so forth. 👏❤️‍🩹 Perhaps, like many others, he would discover that we often fear most what we know the least about. (Maybe I just listened to too much Dune over the holidays. 🌲)

By the way, it’s paradoxical that the AI Act was originally conceived by Von Der Leyen as an attempt to SUPPORT THE EMERGENCE OF NEW TECHNOLOGY (so-called "regulating the market into existence"). See the article from the Financial Times in the comments.
