About two months ago, Gartner released its updated Hype Cycle, which shows that around half of the investments in AI since the onset of the pandemic have remained unchanged, and about a third of organisations plan to even increase their investments in AI. AI projects continue to accelerate this year, particularly in sectors such as healthcare, biology, manufacturing, and finance.
There is much discussion about the democratisation of AI, meaning that AI is no longer the exclusive domain of experts. There is an effort to provide the value of AI to more people. Could AI perhaps find its way into schools?
