Yesterday, on 22 September, Microsoft announced that it will begin exclusive licensing of GPT-3, the largest language model in the world created by OpenAI. Microsoft states that it will start utilising these features in its products and services, although it did not specify the details.
Let us recall that Microsoft also created a new supercomputer for OpenAI in May of this year (which ranks among the very best for AI), and last July, it initiated a partnership solidified by a $1 billion investment!
Personally, I am a big fan of OpenAI and I follow the results of their work with the utmost interest. It’s easy for us to speculate that they are no longer as Open as they originally claimed, but when I look for a sponsor for a proper Czech localisation, everyone seems to vanish :)
