The Expert Team Will Address the Issues of Research, Development, and the Impacts of Artificial Intelligence Utilisation in the Czech Republic

The Czech Republic, as one of the first countries in the EU, has established a specialised expert platform and forum focusing on the regulation of artificial intelligence. The modern format of the so-called Observatory and Forum is utilised by the European Commission and consists of a network of experts, public administration, and the private sector.

The aim of the platform should be to identify legislative barriers in the development, research, and utilisation of artificial intelligence and to process proposals for their removal. Furthermore, it will also develop additional ethical and legal recommendations for practice, provide space for public debate, and engage the Czech Republic in the international discussion on the regulation of artificial intelligence and the data economy.
